Frequently asked questions

We want to have sufficient time to give the cats the care, love and attention they deserve. From experience we know that there is more time needed for more cats. When there are 3-5 cats we find 45 minutes sufficient and for more than 5 cats we find 60 minutes appropriate.

After we conclude our agreement we send you a payment request for the down payment (50% of the total amount). After you've payed this, the reservation is definitive.
For the amount that's still open we send another payment request around the last day of the reservation.

When you cancel the reservation more than 7 days prior tot he starting of the reservarion, you will receive the total amount of your downpayment back. When you cancel the reservation within 7 days of the start of the reservation, then there is nog restitution of the down payment.

When we are concerned about the health of your cat we will always try to get in touch with you (or your contactperson) to talk about what to do next. If it's neccicairy we can go tot he veterinarian. We do apply charges for this (see pricelist).
In case of emercency we will always act in best interest fort he cat.

Possible complaints can be submitted through email of post to us. Please do so as soon as possible and at least within the week. We will try to solve this togehter with you as best as possible.

No, this is not possible.

In that case, please get in contact with us, as soon as possible, and we can see what we can do.

A few days before the start of the reservation period we will contact you to make an appointment for us to pick up the key at your place. On the last day of the reservation period we will put the key through the mail box, after closing the house, unless we made other agreements.

In that case, please contact us, than we can see what we can do. We do charge travel expences from 5 km from starting location.

No, We try to keep a regular scedule, but we can't garantee that.

No, we are not (yet) certified for that.

No, that's not possible. Taking care of small pets like rodents, birds, fish is an extra service and an addition tot he catsitting, not a service in itself.

Yes that's possible. We'll make arrangements about this. However, we cannot be held responsible for the loss of the cat if it has gone outside according to the agreements.

We want the best for the well-being of the cat(s). We believe that if we come less than once every 2 days, this will be at the expense of mental and physical well-being. The litter boxes become too dirty, the cat can go too long without food or water and we believe that every cat deserves at least half an hour of attention a day. If you also make other arrangements in addition to our visits, such as having a neighbor or family member come by, fewer visits can be discussed.
